Digital Marketing Portfolio – Outer Banks Salt Cave Website Build

The website we built for Outer Banks Salt Cave was the first website our digital marketing team built on WordPress’ new Gutenberg editor. Gutenberg has a clean and modern interface for creating pages and blog posts quickly and efficiently. Its array of blocks for page building, ranging from basic paragraph and heading blocks to more advanced HTML and column blocks makes the editing experience simple and straightforward.

On the features side of things, we used the online reservation software Checkfront to handle the session booking. Website visitors can easily book sessions in the salt cave, or salt booth, or even purchase gift cards. In addition, we created a FAQ page with custom-built functionality and an events page that makes use of WordPress' custom post types.

We worked closely with our client to ensure we understood their vision for their website before creating something that could meet that vision while also remaining secure, functional, and user-friendly. We took the time to review our website for this client before launch to ensure that it was fully functional, giving us a final chance to eliminate any bugs before launch. This way, we can see to it that our client and their web traffic are satisfied with the website we have produced.
