Designing the online platform for Beachcombers Tiki Hut, which is an amazing restaurant with an ideal location in the Outer Banks, fresh coastal food, and a relaxed aesthetic, was an enticing challenge. Our goal with this project was to translate the restaurant’s distinctive atmosphere into the digital realm and capture the essence of its physical space through an intricately crafted website.
To accomplish this goal, we took advantage of iMenuPro, which was able to synchronize the virtual menu to reflect the diversity of offerings and ensure a seamless online dining experience that mirrored the tactile menu within the restaurant. We also integrated a dynamic video slider at the forefront of the homepage to elevate the website’s expressiveness while also offering users an engaging visual journey that captured the ambiance and laid-back spirit of the restaurant.
Finally, we also embedded a photo gallery that featured the dishes and customer reviews that were sourced from Google Business Profile (previously known as Google My Business). By doing this, we could not only showcase the dishes our client had to offer but also prove the quality of their service with first-hand reviews. We believe that by employing these strategic integrations into their website we have been able to evoke the essence of the client’s restaurant while also inviting visitors on a visual and culinary journey through the website.
